Our Trip to Key West!

We just wanted to do something fun for a weekend and so we choose to go to the beautiful Keys. We went this past Memorial Day weekend and stayed at a hostel in Key West. It was a great experience staying in a hostel and lots of fun shopping and laying on the beach!!

A few things from the end of the semester...

We had the Lambda Chi Formal and my best bud at school, Katie, got Lambda Chi Chapter Sweetheart!! So now we are both sweethearts and are so excited to go the events and support the guys together.

Zeta had it's big fundraiser called the Mr. Southern Pageant. We raised over $13,000 for the breastcancer foundation!! We were really exctited! The new Fall '06 girls (my pledge class) had to do a dance together for the intermission...it was a lot of work but tons of fun. We did really good!

Spring Break
This year I spent Spring Break with a few girls from school at their family friend's condo in Jacksonville. It was soo great because it was right on the beach. I also went down to St. Augustine for about a day to show my good friend Katie from school around. She had never been to St. Augustine so I wanted to show her all the cool stuff there.

I got Lambda Chi Alpha Sweetheart! <3

Each Fraternity has a pledge classes each semester and each pledge class has to pick a sweetheart. They pick a girl that will represent their letters well, support them in their philanthropic events, and encourage other guys to rush that fraternity. (Also, someone that is sweet and most likely will make them cookies..lol) They Spring '07 pledge class picked me as their sweetheart! I was soo excited because they can pick any girl in the school and she doesn't have to be in a sorority. So, it is a really nice complement and honor to be chosen. I will try and get a pick with the pledge class so you can see the boys that picked me. They are all awesome guys and I get along with them great!

Here is when they surprised me and gave me my new Lambda Chi Alpha Jersey.

When they pick a new sweetheart they go around the school singing and sernading their old sweethearts. Then they go to their new sweetheart, give her a jersey with their letters, and sernade her. It was realy cool!

Zeta Tau Alpha Formal

We had our ZTA formal last Saturday. It was filled with dinner, dancing, and yummy dessert!

Well I guess that is it for now...I only have like 4 more weeks until finals. Then I am officially finished with my first year in college! I can't believe it. It has been a fun and eventful year. Then its back to home to work at a daycare for the summer...

It's been a while... since I have updated...so here's what's happened in the Month of October!


Rush Week Fall '06
We had to go to each sorrority during Rush Week. This first two nights were business causual type dress. After each night we got invitations back to the sorrorities...and we went to our top choices the following night.

Then on Saturday of that week it was called Bid Day. That is when we recieved our final invitiations and we were accepted into our first choice sorrority.
